Bus Tours - Important Special Directions

BUSSES ONLY – MUST FOLLOW – DIRECTIONS:
After making your way to (the bottom of) Troy Hill Rd.via E. Ohio St. (Rt. 28) and
Chestnut St., follow T. H. Rd. (rounding North Catholic H.S.)  Make a right turn
on Lowrie St.  Follow Lowrie St. a few blocks.  After passing the UniMart (on the right), look for the ESB Bank (on the left & Gulf Station on the right.) 
Make a left turn into the bank’s parking lot.  Go through the lot and straight ahead into
the church’s parking lot directly in front of the Chapel.  See Map

From The North:
  1. I-79 S to I-279 S.
  2. Exit 2B, 28 N / East St. 
  3. After stop sign, straight ahead to third traffic light, Rt. 28 / E. Ohio St. 
  4. Left on E. Ohio St. to second traffic light at Chestnut St.
  5. Left on Chestnut St. and quick right on Phineas St. / Troy Hill Rd. at St. Anthony's Chapel sign. 
  6. Pass brewery and continue up Troy Hill Rd. past North Catholic H.S.
  7. Round North Catholic and right on Lowrie St. at funeral parlor.
  8. Lowrie St. to the UniMart and left on Claim St. at medical bldg.
  9. Claim St. to right on Harpster St. rounding Most Holy Name Church.
  10. St. Anthony's Chapel is on Harpster St. next to Most Holy Name Rectory.

       1.  Rt. 8 S. to  Rt. 28 S. which becomes E. Ohio St. 
       2.  Exit at Chestnut St., stay in far right lane.
       3.  Right on Chestnut St. and a quick right on Phineas St. / Troy Hill Rd. at St. Anthony's
            Chapel sign.
            Continue directions 6 thru 10 above.

 
From The East:
  1. I-376 W / Parkway East to downtown Pittsburgh. Stay in the right lane approaching the Point.
  2. Exit 1A, Fort Duquesne Bridge / North Shore.
  3. While crossing Fort Duquesne Bridge, merge right (I-279 N) circling around PNC Park.  Stay in right lane.
  4. Exit 1D - Route 28 / Chestnut St. / E. Ohio St.
  5. Quickly get into far right lane and exit onto Chestnut St.
  6. At the light, left on Chestnut St. staying in the right lane to the second light.
  7. Quick right on Phineas St. / Troy Hill Rd. at St. Anthony's Chapel sign. 
  8. Pass brewery and continue up Troy Hill Rd. past North Catholic H.S.
  9. Round North Catholic and right on Lowrie St. at funeral parlor.
  10. Lowrie St. past UniMart and left on Claim St. at medical bldg.
  11. Claim St. to right on Harpster St. rounding Most Holy Name Church.
  12. St. Anthony's Chapel is on Harpster St. next to Most Holy Name Rectory. 
From The South & West:
  1. I-376 E / Parkway West to downtown Pittsburgh.  Stay in left lane going through Ft. Pitt Tunnel.
  2. End of tunnel, merge into the far left lane, I-279 / North Shore.
  3. While crossing Ft. Duquesne Bridge,  get into right lane, circling PNC Park.
  4. Exit 1D - Rt. 28 / Chestnut St. / E. Ohio St.
  5. Quickly get into far right lane and exit onto Chestnut St.
  6. At the light, left on Chestnut St. staying in the right lane to the second light.
  7. Quick right on Phineas St. / Troy Hill Rd. at St. Anthony's Chapel sign.
  8. Pass brewery and continue up Troy Hill Rd. past North Catholic H.S.
  9. Round North Catholic H.S. and turn right on Lowrie St. at funeral parlor.
  10. Lowrie St. to the UniMart and left on Claim St. at medical bldg.
  11. Claim St. to right on Harpster St. rounding Most Holy Name Church.
  12. St. Anthony's Chapel is on Harpster St. next to Most Holy Name Rectory.

     1.  Rt. 51 / Saw Mill Run Blvd.  or  W. Liberty Ave. to Liberty Tunnels and downtown.
     2.  Get into left lane entering tunnel  and  right lane crossing Liberty Bridge.
     3.  Exit up ramp (I-579) and quickly into far left  lane (Rt.28) coming into downtown.
     4.  Stop sign, right lane to Grant St. and right on Grant past bus and rail stations on 
          Liberty Ave.
     5.  Liberty Ave. to left on 16th St. and across 16th Bridge to the 4th light.
          Continue directions 7 thru 12 above.

                                                              OR

      1.  Rt. 65 / Ohio River Blvd. towards the casino and stadiums on the North Shore.
      2.  Stay left and exit to I-279 N (with PNC Park on the right.)
      3.  Quickly get into right lane and Exit 1D - Rt. 28 / Chestnut St. / E. Ohio St.
           Continue directions 5 thru 12 above.
