Welcome!
A very unique opportunity awaits those who make pilgrimage to Saint Anthony's Chapel. The Chapel, as it exists today, is the result of two construction efforts with it's completion and dedication occuring on the feast day of St. Anthony of Padua, June 13, 1892. The Chapel houses the Blessed Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and is constructed in two main areas the Shrine of the Saints and the Way of the Cross.
The Shrine of the Saints houses over 5000 sacred relics and our Pittsburgh community of Troy Hill is blessed to be the steward of the largest collection of relics for public viewing in world!
The Way of the Cross houses one of two known hand-carved, life-size Stations of the Cross in the United States.
The Shrine of Saint Anthony's Chapel leads the soul to contemplate on Our Lord's triumph over the Cross and those Saints who were willing to follow him through the Cross.
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"... John 11: 25-26
